Faculty Bar

This will be a separate website where faculty members come to communicate in real-time.

- Matt - One option for real-time voice chat would be the service offered by Ventrilo.net(http://www.ventrilo.net/). It requires the user to download a free software client that is small in size, and have a headset/mic combo. Once set-up the service requires little attention. It has a monthly fee(to the admin, not the users) and servers supporting 15($13.00 a month)-400($142.00 a month) users are available. I use this service personally and have never had any downtime since I started(1 year of service). The only hitch I can see is audio codec support for Macintosh. It is available, but results in slightly lower sound quality. This is being remedied but no word as of yet to a release date.
