ComPADRE Collection Development Policy Goals

The Collection Development Policies are meant to serve several purposes:

As a Vision Statement for the Collection
To identify the audience(s) for the Collection
To identify connections with the goals of the Sponsoring Organization(s)
To identify and prioritize the types of resources to be included in the Collection
To outline the processes for adding and removing materials to the Collection
To indicate the quality rubrics for the materials
To help users and contributors understand what the Collection is and how it operates
